Immediate need for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join on an initial 3 month contract

Your new company

This organisation is based in the Eastern Suburbs of Perth, and due to busy period they are searching for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join their team for an initial 3 Month contract (Possibility of extension/permanent placement).

Your new role

Within this new role, you will be responsible for receiving, prioritising, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require you to give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. The focus of this role is to ensure IT infrastructure and related systems maintain high availability so that end users can accomplish business tasks.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this position, you will have the following experience –

  • Knowledge and some experience working with SCCM 2012 SP1
  • Strong knowledge of the Windows 7 operating environment
  • Experience in a Windows Server network environment
  • Experience in a Microsoft Exchange Office 365 environment
  • Strong knowledge of popular Windows PC software programs, including Microsoft Office Professional Plus, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, Java and so on
  • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience
