Capgemini - Release Manager


The objectives of the release manager in Asia is to define the strategy for managing deliverables and their dependencies with the central team in Lausanne. They are the responsible for guaranteeing the availability of deliverables for stakeholders in the methodology life cycle. They work closely with the Technical Leaders of the development teams and the Test Manager.

Job Description:

• Define and implement the deployment architecture

• Manage and optimize the technical dependencies between the different application modules

• Coordinate release production, in close collaboration with the Technical Leaders of the development teams

• Coordinate release deliveries

• Maintain the dashboard of the different versions deployed within the different environments

• Communicate all release and delivery technical events • Ensure application availability in target environments

• Develop and communicate the release management technical procedures • Manage the toolchain allowing the Continuous Integration to keep working Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IT release management

• 2+ years in project management skills

• Experience in governing both waterfall as well as Agile/DevOps project lifecycles

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

• Advanced skills in coordinating cross-functional work teams toward task completion

• Previous experience in product management release processes example: Avaloq / wealth platform is a plus

• Management of AZQore factory products: Jenkins, Git, SVN, Maven, Java, Cobol, DB2, BI, Linux

• Experience in complex application deployment, definition and architecture in Websphere 8.5 & Jboss environment

• Good inter-team coordination skills for release production
