Python/.NET Developer

Work as part of an innovative new team as they move into phase two of their greenfields project. Primarily working with Python, and Microsoft web applications.

Client Details

a tier 1 international business looking to implement the next phase of their data management program. The business puts innovation at the forefront in order to give them their competitive advantage.


Based in Perth, the team at the Perth HQ are in the process of some critical new developments which will ultimately affect the company on an international scale. As such, they are looking to expand their IT team with capable full-stack developers to assist on this and other exciting upcoming projects. The current priority is on a new data management platform.

The IT team is large and well established but they often develop with a small business mindset, you will be solely responsible for some of your work while also have every opportunity to work as a crucial member of an innovative team.

This will be both complete greenfields and maintenance/new development work.

This is a mixture of open source and Microsoft stack with Python, Django .NET, Hadoop being used. JavaScript frameworks like Angular are being used on the front end but aren't essential.


Key skills required:

  • knowledge and experience as a .NET developer.
  • Experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API development.
  • Strong experience with API.
  • Enterprise experience with Python and Django.
  • Exposure to MS SQL Server and MySQL databases.
  • GIS, OpenCV or Digital Image Processing experience is favoured.
  • Experience with Git or similar code repository.
  • Some understanding of Microservice architectures would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, manage project resources, interact with clients and coordinate on work to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Exposure to Cloud architecture with CI/CD environments is a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in development generally.
